Young Mexican Alex Carrillo has won first place at a film festival in Toronto, Canada, with the animated short film “Express.”

Animator Luis Manuel Villarreal, a distinguished professor at the Tec, is one of the artists who worked on the film ‘Space Jam 2: A New Legacy’, bringing Looney Tunes characters to life as well as parts of the animated version of protagonist LeBron James.

Mexican animator Luis Manuel Villarreal, who was one of the main animators on the Oscar-winning short film Hair Love, has joined Tec de Monterrey as a distinguished professor.

Ana Luisa López, a Tec de Monterrey graduate, worked at the international studio MPC as part of the visual effects team on the movies 1917 and Sonic the Hedgehog.
