Tec de Monterrey inaugurated new spaces at its offices in Peru accompanied by Pablo Monroy, Ambassador of Mexico to Peru.

Tec de Monterrey has inaugurated new spaces at its Peru offices aimed at the country’s senior management community with a new selection of digital graduate degrees from EGADE Business School and a Continuing Education portfolio.

The event was attended by Pablo Monroy, Ambassador of Mexico to Peru, Brunela Baca, Director of the Tec’s Peru offices, José Manuel Páez, Vice Rector for Internationalization, and Ignacio de la Vega, Executive Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Faculty, and Internationalization.

The Peru offices will have on-site spaces where EGADE Business School’s online graduate students will have access to global opportunities, experiences, and networking as part of the Tec community.

In addition to online Continuing Education courses, there will be a selection of in-person classes in future at this site.

These facilities aim to serve organizations with customized projects to upskill and reskill their employees, measuring results and providing them with a high-impact model that measures their return on investment.

Inauguration of the new facilities

Two talks, “Mexico-Peru Relationship and Cooperation” and “Conscious Leadership to Boost Business and Society,” were given as part of the inauguration.

“The alliance between Mexico and Peru has great potential for continued growth, especially now that we’re experiencing a new normal and globalization forces us to continue to innovate and transform to reach those in need,” said Ambassador Monroy.

“It’s very important for us to take this step towards learning innovation and adaptation so we can continue to train leaders capable of anticipating change and being at the forefront of trends in their businesses or ventures,” said Brunela Baca, Director of the Peru office.

“We want to continue assisting more Peruvians in to develop their skills and competencies to face the current challenges of the post-pandemic era together and for years to come,” said Ignacio de la Vega.

“That’s why we’ve created different remote learning formats that will bolster a flexible digital experience to enhance immediate application of the knowledge and skills acquired by students,” added the vice rector.

 

Tec de Monterrey in Peru

The Tec de Monterrey office operates out of San Isidro and has offered continuing education and postgraduate programs for senior management in different business sectors in Peru over the years.

It has also contributed to the economic and social development of the country through its more than 700 graduates.

The Tec has developed academic ties with various universities, including:

  • Peruvian University of Applied Sciences (UPC)
  • University of the Pacific
  • ESAN University
  • Pontifical Catholic University of Peru
  • University of Engineering and Technology
  • Technological University of Peru, to name but a few.

EGADE Business School collaborates with universities in Peru that are also members of the Latin American Council of Management Schools (CLADEA for its initials in Spanish).

The institution has also collaborated in the promotion of gender equity by leading initiatives such as the Women in TECH Forum and actively supporting the Women in Mining Peru association.

Finally, it has worked hand in hand with Organization of Women in International Trade (OWIT) Peru, a non-profit organization that brings together women entrepreneurs, executives, and business leaders in the country.

EGADE Tec graduates experience networking in new spaces in Peru

Members of the EGADE Business School Tec Graduate community in Peru held their first in-person networking session in the new spaces at the Tecnológico de Monterrey office in Peru.

A master class on conscious leadership was given in the evening by Ignacio de la Vega, Executive Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Faculty, and Internationalization at Tec de Monterrey.

The networking session was chaired by María Livas, Director of Alumni and Graduate Relations at EGADE Business School.
