Tecnológico de Monterrey has been recognized as Mexico’s best place to work in the Education category of the Best Workplaces 2025 rankings compiled by Computrabajo, one of the largest job exchanges in Latin America.

This award, presented during the Brunch & Talent 2025 event, is based on direct assessments by staff and former employees.

The awards ceremony for Mexico’s 50 best workplaces was held on April 2, with the Tec standing out for its organizational culture, positive leadership, and talent-focused approach.

This is in addition to data from the Ministry of Labor on the companies that generate the most employment in each state, in which the Tec stands out in Nuevo León with 8,607 employees and 22,460 employees nationwide.

“We’re proud to be named the best place to work as we want the Tec to attract, develop, and retain the best talent,” said Aida Madrigal del Castillo, Employer Branding and Collaboration Spaces Manager at Tec de Monterrey.

Key factors in achieving this recognition include:

  • Actively listening to staff through the use of organizational climate surveys
  • Wellness and professional development programs
  • Conscious and positive leadership
  • Culture of recognition
  • Emotional salary

Madrigal pointed out that effective leadership is essential, as 70% of employee engagement is directly linked to their immediate manager.

That is why the Tec invests in training empathetic, communicative leaders focused on human development.

“We’re improving the entire employee experience, from the moment they apply to the moment they leave, so that they feel valued and committed,” she added.

Bertha Solano, Talent Attraction Leader at Tec de Monterrey, said that this achievement is the result of an organizational culture that puts people at the center:

“This premise regarding how we recognize staff, give them visibility, and work collaboratively applies from senior management down to each individual leader.”

She said that the management team is essential for maintaining staff satisfaction and consistently upholding values.

“People should experience cultural consistency and be placed at the center. This means that staff members have a supportive and happy environment during their time here and grow professionally,” said Solano.
