Tec de Monterrey has hosted the Mexican launch of The Lancet Series: Early Childhood Development and the Next 1000 Days, which covers ages 2 to 5 years.
During the presentation, the authors explained why it’s crucial to invest in this window of opportunity, as it’s a unique time to foster good nutrition, learning, and physical and mental health.
The participants included two of the series’ main authors:
- Catherine Draper, Associate Professor at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, and
- Milagros Nores, Co-Director at the National Institute for Early Education Research (NIEER).
