The CEO of Enterprise Singapore, Png Cheong Boon, paid a visit to Tec’s Monterrey campus on April 20 with the aim of exploring a partnership between Tec de Monterrey and Singapore.

One of the objectives of Enterprise Singapore, the governmental development agency, is to look for partnership opportunities for the country’s companies in different parts of the world.

“Many organizations in Singapore are looking to begin operations in Mexico, and the most important thing is to connect with Tec de Monterrey and collaborate with its graduates,he said.

Tec directors, led by David Garza, rector and executive president of the Tec, spoke with the delegation from Singapore about opportunities for collaboration on issues such as innovation, startups, and student mobility.

“We want to strengthen relations between Mexico and Singapore (...) that’s why the visit to Mexico has to include Tec de Monterrey.”
