Every year, América Economía publishes the Ranking of Clinics and Hospitals. In 2020, for the second consecutive year, the Zambrano Hellion and San José hospitals which form part of Tecnológico de Monterrey’s TecSalud System, were recognized among the top 4 hospitals in the country.

The Zambrano Hellion Hospital occupies third place and the San José Hospital is in fourth place in this national ranking. In the whole of Latin America, the Zambrano Hellion Hospital is ranked 34th and the San José Hospital 36th.

Since 2018, the Zambrano Hellion Hospital has been among the top three hospitals in Mexico according to the América Economía ranking, making it a prestigious institution both within Nuevo León and nationally.

Sven Boes, Director of TecSalud Hospitals said that: “This ranking is the result of a great joint effort from all the people that form TecSalud. It commits us to continue working to improve the quality of hospital care for our patients.”

International impact

TecSalud has promoted cultural change as part of its vision for 2030, which is based on 3 pillars: Wellbeing, Prevention, and Longevity.

Those hospitals and clinics included in this ranking met the requirements of providing quality care, having prestige within their local community, offering a variety of medical services, and being a point of reference for the Health ministries or relevant organizations in their respective countries.

Every year, América Economía’s Ranking of Clinics and Hospitals is based on the following seven aspects of safety, patient dignity and experience, human capital, knowledge management, capacity, efficiency, and prestige.

Both TecSalud hospitals have highly trained and specialized medical teams that are attentive to patients’ needs for trust and tranquility, state-of-the-art medical technology, and strict international safety and hygiene standards in both facilities and procedures.

“This year especially, with the arrival of COVID-19, this recognition of TecSalud hospitals reaffirms our commitment to healthcare, to training excellent professionals, and to continuing research focused on transforming healthcare across the country,” concluded Sven Boes.
