David Garza, Executive President of the Tecnológico de Monterrey Education Group, represented the institution as the only Mexican university invited to THE World Academic Summit 2025 in Saudi Arabia.

Times Higher Education (THE) has announced its 2025 world rankings, in which Tec de Monterrey stands out as the #1 university in Mexico and #4 in Latin America.

Thanks to Tec de Monterrey, Mexico has hosted the Times Higher Education Latin America Universities Summit for the first time, a forum for universities and education specialists to analyze their progress and impact in Latin America.

International collaboration with other universities, global vision, and attracting international talent were some of the key elements that Juan Pablo Murra, Rector of Undergraduate and Graduate Studies at the Tec, sees as necessary for universities in Latin America to face the region’s challenges.

David Garza, rector and executive president of the Tec, shared his vision of education in the future, based on steps taken by universities during the COVID-19 crisis.
